Macky`s Dim Sum in Issaquah

Very friendly & tasty dim sum experience! Great pork shu mai & bbq pork buns. Mackey's has all of the dim sum favorites and excellent portions.

The food is yummy as there are a lot of great options. Kind, nice service... however I would not suggest going with a group. They write the items out on a paper pad, and it’s basically impossible to tell what exactly is on it. When asked for a split bill, they just wrote out the total cost for the split bill, but we could not tell what any of the items were. Gotta get with 2020.

Great family owned local dim sum. We celebrate here for special events too. Though now with Covid we get take out instead. The steamed bao is my fave, but the kids always buy them out of the baked bao. Soup dumplings are good too

Some of the best dim sum around! I always eat here every time I visit Issaquah, and have never been disappointed. Some personal favorites are the shrimp ball and leaf wraps. Yum!

Parked across the street. Can be difficult to park. Was not too busy when I went, which was around 6.30 pm on a Saturday. Had mostly the dim sum choices. Really loved the baked BBQ pork bun and the fried pork dumpling football. Shumai, snow shoot leaves, chicken feet, cilantro dumpling were okay. Not too crazy with their chicken fried rice. Ordered the Szechwan style eggplant on the menu - was a bit spicy, tasted ok. Server said it was Hong Kong style... I thought it was Szechuan style with their house garlic chili sauce but it was different. Tea was a little over-brewed like many other dim sum places. Best to go with a group so you can sample then order more of what is everyone’s favorite.

Great quality dim sum, friendly staff, clean environment and they respected social distancing and hygiene practices. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!
